In 2019, Chloe launched The Chloe Temtchine Foundation (TCTF), a non-profit organization dedicated to using entertainment in an effort to inspire and empower people living with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and other life-threatening illnesses and to bringing hope to those in need.
Funds raised through TCTF help support the foundation’s many endeavors including The Smile Tour and Super Brave. Any and all donations help offset expenses that are not covered by sponsorships and/or grants.
THE HISTORY
Chloe wrote "Be Brave" shortly after being released from the critical care unit. It is a song about making the choice to live no matter how difficult life’s challenges may be. When Chloe debuted Be Brave in 2014, the song became an immediate hit. The lyrics resonated for so many people struggling with PAH and other chronic illnesses. The Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) community immediately adopted Be Brave as its anthem, and over 150,000 copies were downloaded within the first 90 days of its release.
The lyrics resonated for so many people struggling with PAH and other chronic illnesses.
Well you can be brave
And you can stand tall
Wipe all your tears away
When they come
And you can be saved
When you lose it all
In all the darkness light is found
So don't let it drag you down
Within days of its release, Chloe’s email inbox was flooded with letters from fans eager to connect with her, to share their stories, and to seek advice. Chloe had a very special connection with one fan in particular, Humayra Bodhania, a beautiful eight-year-old girl with PH.
The devastating and untimely death of Humayra inspired Chloe to establish The Chloe Temtchine Foundation and to launch The Smile Tour.
Your tax-deductible gift to TCTF will help support the foundation’s mission of bringing hope to those in need, an end to PH, and awareness to the importance of organ donation through advocacy, community outreach, and entertainment.
You can help Chloe bring a smile to those who struggle with PAH and other life-threatening illnesses, day after day, month after month, and year after year.
With greater awareness comes earlier diagnosis, which ultimately leads us one step closer to a cure.
